Beer Batter Bread

Ingredients:

  1. 3 cups - all purpose flour
  2. 3 tablespoons - packed brown sugar
  3. 1 tablespoons - baking powder
  4. 1 teaspoons - salt
  5. 1 bottles - 12 oz beer best at room temperature
  6. 4 tablespoons - melted butter

Directions:

Grease a 9x5-inch bread loaf pan.

In a mixing bowl, stir together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt.

Add the beer and stir until the batter is combined and slightly lumpy.

Pour the batter into the loaf pan and drizzle the top with the melted butter.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes.

Allow to cool for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.
