Ingredients:

  1. 4 tablespoons - chili powder
  2. 1 teaspoons - ground cumin
  3. 2 teaspoons - olive oil
  4. 1 - large onion finely chopped
  5. 1 pounds - lean ground beef
  6. 16 ounces - canned tomato sauce
  7. 15 ounces - canned black beans rinsed and drained
  8. 16 - soft or crunchy taco shells
  9. - shredded cheese
  10. - sour cream
  11. - chopped cilantro
  12. - taco sauce
  13. 2 cloves - garlic minced

Directions:

Toast chili powder and cumin in a large skillet over med heat until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add oil to skillet and heat, then cook onion till tender, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 3 minutes. Add beef, breaking up with wooden spoon and cook until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and beans; cook 5 minutes more or until heated through. Add salt or chipotle powder to taste.
