Cornish Hen

Ingredients:

  1. - cornish hen thawed
  2. - whole cooking onion OR favorite stuffing mix
  3. - salt and pepper
  4. 3 strips - bacon

Directions:

Stuff cornish hen with cooking onion or your favorite stuffing.

Rub skin with salt and pepper; cover with strips of raw bacon.

Put in buttered roasting pan. Cook at 325 degrees F for about 1-1/4 hours until brown and tender.

Make gravy as you would for chicken or turkey.
