Crispy Potato Gratin

Ingredients:

  1. 4 - medium baking potatoes (about 2 pounds)
  2. 1 cloves - garlic split
  3. 3 tablespoons - butter
  4. 2 cups - shredded Swiss cheese
  5. 1/2 cups - beef broth undiluted
  6. - salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste

Directions:

Slice potatoes in food processor.

Rub 2 quart baking dish with garlic and butter.

Spread layers of potatoes, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and cheese. Dot with butter.

Pour broth over all.

Bake (covered) at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or longer.
