Fresh Tomato Pie

Ingredients:

  1. 1 - pie shell 9-inch baked and cooled
  2. 4 - large tomatoes peeled, sliced
  3. 1 - small onion sliced
  4. 1 tablespoons - fresh basil
  5. 1 teaspoons - fresh chives
  6. 1 cups - mayonnaise
  7. 1 cups - grated cheddar cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Sprinkle tomato slices with salt and drain on paper towels.

Place layer of tomatoes, onion, salt, pepper, basil and chives in pie shell.

Blend mayo and cheese together and spread over top.

Bake until bubbly.
