Ingredients:
- 1 cups - buttermilk
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 1 teaspoons - pepper
- 6 - catfish
- 1 1/2 cups - cornmeal
- 1/2 cups - self-rising flour
- 4 cups - oil
Directions:
Mix together buttermilk, salt and pepper. Add fish to coat and allow to marinate for 4 to 6 hours.
Mix together cornmeal and flour; roll catfish in mixture and fry in deep oil until golden and brown.
