Fried Venison Chops

Ingredients:

  1. 6 - boneless venison chops
  2. 1 1/2 cups - buttermilk
  3. 1 1/2 cups - flour
  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons - garlic powder
  7. - vegetable oil for frying

Directions:

Pound venison chops with a mallet until they are 1/4 in thick. Place chops in buttermilk to marinate overnight. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Remove venison from buttermilk and dredge in dry mixture. Cook the venison in hot oil in fryer to desired doneness.
