Gladys' Garlic Grits

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - grits
  2. 3 cups - water
  3. 1 - roll of Kraft garlic cheese
  4. 1 sticks - oleo
  5. 2 whole - eggs beaten well
  6. 1/4 cups - milk
  7. - salt and red pepper to taste
  8. 1/2 teaspoons - garlic powder
  9. - grated sharp cheese for topping
  10. - paprika for topping

Directions:

Cook grits according to package directions (in 3 cups of water instead of 4).

Add garlic cheese and oleo and stir well.

While still hot, add beaten eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Pour into greased baking dish and bake at 350 degrees F for 35 minutes.

Remove, sprinkle cheese and paprika on top and bake for 15 minutes longer.
