Ingredients:
- 1 cups - bran flakes
- 3 cups - old fashioned oats
- 1 cups - flaked coconut
- 1 cups - coarsely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cups - wheat germ
- 1/2 cups - brown sugar
- 1 teaspoons - cinnamon
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 1/2 cups - vegetable oil
- 1/2 cups - water
- 2 tablespoons - honey
- 1 teaspoons - vanilla
- 1 cups - raisins
- 1 cups - coarsely chopped dates
- 1/2 cups - banana chips
Directions:
Combine in a large bowl the bran flakes, oats, coconut, pecans, wheat germ, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt.
In a small bowl combine water, honey and vanilla; pour over oat mixture and mix well.
Spread mixture evenly on greased jelly-roll pan. Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes until brown.
Cool in pan; stir in raisins, dates and banana chips.
Store in airtight container.
