Hot Pepper Pecans

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons - butter
  2. 1 cups - large pecan halves
  3. 2 tablespoons - soy sauce
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  5. 2 dashes - hot pepper sauce or a dash more, to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Melt butter in a shallow baking pan and spread pecan halves evenly in one layer.

Bake for 30 minutes or more until pecans begin to brown; stir. Do not overcook.

Mix soy sauce, salt and hot pepper sauce together and then stir into toasted pecans.

Spread on a layer of doubled thickness paper towels to cool. Pack in jars with tight fitting lids for storing.
