Ingredients:
- 5 pounds - or 6 pound roast (sirloin tip, rump or pot roast)
- 3/4 cups - burgundy wine
- 1 cans - consomme soup - undiluted - OR onion soup
- 1 teaspoons - Worcestershire sauce
- - salt and pepper
- 1 - large onion
- 2 tablespoons - flour
Directions:
Mix flour with 2 tablespoons of the consomme; add all liquid gradually and mix.
Slice onion and place on pot roast in roaster.
Pour liquid over all. Bake in covered roaster for 3 hours at 325 degrees F. Remove and serve.
