Italian Pot Roast

Ingredients:

  1. 5 pounds - or 6 pound roast (sirloin tip, rump or pot roast)
  2. 3/4 cups - burgundy wine
  3. 1 cans - consomme soup - undiluted - OR onion soup
  4. 1 teaspoons - Worcestershire sauce
  5. - salt and pepper
  6. 1 - large onion
  7. 2 tablespoons - flour

Directions:

Mix flour with 2 tablespoons of the consomme; add all liquid gradually and mix.

Slice onion and place on pot roast in roaster.

Pour liquid over all. Bake in covered roaster for 3 hours at 325 degrees F. Remove and serve.
