Jack Daniels Brownies

Ingredients:

  1. 3/4 cups - all-purpose flour
  2. 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  4. 6 tablespoons - butter
  5. 3 ounces - baking chocolate
  6. 3/4 cups - sugar
  7. 2 - eggs
  8. 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  9. 2 ounces - Jack Daniels whiskey
  10. 1 cups - powdered sugar
  11. 1 1/2 teaspoons - boiling water
  12. 1 1/2 tablespoons - Jack Daniels whiskey
  13. 1/8 teaspoons - vanilla
  14. 1 tablespoons - cocoa powder

Directions:

For Brownies:

Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.

Melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water. Remove from heat; add sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour mixture and whiskey. Mix well.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Pour batter into a greased 8×10 inch pan. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until firm.

For Glaze:

Combine all glaze ingredients, stirring until smooth. Brush or pour over baked brownies.
