Joe's Stone Crab Key Lime Pie

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/4 cups - crushed graham crackers
  2. 1/3 cups - melted butter
  3. 1/4 cups - sugar
  4. 2 cans - 14 oz. condensed milk
  5. 1 cups - Key Lime juice
  6. 5 - egg yolks
  7. - zest of 4 key limes
  8. 1 pints - heavy cream whipped

Directions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine all crust ingredients together. Press to cover bottom of 9-inch pie pan, pressing firmly. Bake 8 minutes and then let cool.

Combine all the filling ingredients. Pour into baked crust. Bake another 8 minutes.

Chill and freeze for 1 hour before serving. Serve with dollops of whipped cream.
