Ingredients:
- 1 pounds - ground beef
- 1/2 cups - finely cut onion
- 1/4 cups - finely cut green pepper
- 1/2 cups - uncooked oats
- 1 - egg beaten
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt or more, as desired
- 1/3 cups - tomato juice
- 1 teaspoons - paprika
- 1/2 teaspoons - dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoons - horseradish
- 1/4 cups - catsup on top of loaf, to bake
- 1/4 cups - shortening or oil melted
Directions:
In a small skillet, to shortening or oil add onion and green pepper. Cook about 5 minutes.
Combine all remaining ingredients except catsup. Add onion and green pepper and mix well.
Pack in a greased pan (about 5-by-3-inches or size to suit). Spread catsup on top and bake at 400 degrees F for 30 to 45 minutes as needed.
