Ingredients:
- 1/2 cups - sugar
- 1/2 cups - brown sugar
- 1/2 cups - shortening
- 1/2 cups - shortening
- 1 whole - egg
- 1 1/2 cups - flour
- 3/4 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoons - salt
- - sugar
- 48 - Hershey Kisses
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 F. Mix sugars, shortening, peanut butter, and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until set not hard, about 10 minutes. Place chocolate kiss in center of each cookie. Press down gently.
