Peppered Chicken

Ingredients:

  1. 1 whole - chicken cut into pieces
  2. 1 - onion sliced
  3. 1 stalks - celery sliced
  4. 1 teaspoons - freshly ground peppercorns
  5. 1 teaspoons - salt
  6. 1 teaspoons - garlic powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - oregano

Directions:

Brown the cut up chicken in oil.

Place in a 2-quart casserole with onion, celery, garlic powder, oregano, salt and pepper.

Bake, covered, for 2-1/2 hours at 275 degrees F.

Thicken liquid, if desired.
