Pheasant in Wine Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. 4 tablespoons - butter
  2. 1 - pheasant
  3. 2 tablespoons - flour
  4. 1/2 cups - clear stock
  5. 1/2 cups - white wine seasoning

Directions:

Melt butter in a dutch oven. When hot, saute the pheasant gently all over until its golden brown. Remove the bird. Add flour, stock and wine, blend smoothly. Bring to a boil and add seasoning. Return bird to the Dutch oven and cover. Cook in preheated 350 oven, turning bird while cooking for 35-40 mins or until bird is tender.
