Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 4 slices - Swiss cheese
- 8 slices - low-fat pastrami or corn beef
- 1 cans - sauerkraut
- 1 pounds - package of pre-made pizza dough
- 1 tablespoons - melted butter
- 1 cups - to 2 cups mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons - ketchup
- 2 teaspoons - sweet relish
Directions:
Let the dough proof, (put in bowl with a towel over it so it expands). Preheat oven to 375-400 ° F (depends on how crispy you like dough).
Cut dough into 4 pieces. Flour your rolling pin and surface and roll dough out into ½ inch thick pieces.
Place 1 piece of Swiss, 2 slices of your choice of deli meat, and a spoonful of sauerkraut onto each rolled out dough piece and roll up into a calzone, loading it up in the middle so filling does not explode out the sides.
Take melted butter and glaze it over the top. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, until crust is a golden brown.
Dipping Sauce:
Combine mayo, ketchup and relish. Stir thoroughly until sauce is a light pink color.
