Ingredients:

  1. 1 - small apple chopped
  2. 1/4 cups - chopped parsley
  3. 1 teaspoons - salt
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - leaf sage crumbled
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - leaf thyme crumbled
  6. 1/2 teaspoons - pepper
  7. 1 - egg beaten
  8. - loin pork chops (1-1/4 inch thick)
  9. 1/4 cups - butter
  10. 1/3 cups - water
  11. 2 tablespoons - flour
  12. 1 cups - chicken broth
  13. 1 - medium size onion chopped
  14. 1/2 cups - chopped celery
  15. 3 tablespoons - butter
  16. 1 cups - dry stuffing

Directions:

Saute onion and celery in 3 tablespoons butter in large skillet until tender. Remove from heat. Add next 7 ingredients and toss lightly.

Cut deep pocket in each pork chop and fill with the stuffing mixture; fasten with toothpicks.

Melt remaining butter, brown the chops; add water, boil, cover and simmer 40 minutes. Transfer to a platter.

Gravy: Stir flour into drippings left in pan, cook, stirring in chicken broth, and let thicken.
