Ingredients:
- 1 - small apple chopped
- 1/4 cups - chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 1/2 teaspoons - leaf sage crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoons - leaf thyme crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoons - pepper
- 1 - egg beaten
- - loin pork chops (1-1/4 inch thick)
- 1/4 cups - butter
- 1/3 cups - water
- 2 tablespoons - flour
- 1 cups - chicken broth
- 1 - medium size onion chopped
- 1/2 cups - chopped celery
- 3 tablespoons - butter
- 1 cups - dry stuffing
Directions:
Saute onion and celery in 3 tablespoons butter in large skillet until tender. Remove from heat. Add next 7 ingredients and toss lightly.
Cut deep pocket in each pork chop and fill with the stuffing mixture; fasten with toothpicks.
Melt remaining butter, brown the chops; add water, boil, cover and simmer 40 minutes. Transfer to a platter.
Gravy: Stir flour into drippings left in pan, cook, stirring in chicken broth, and let thicken.
