Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 1 pounds - fresh or frozen white fish fillets about 1/2 inch thick
- 1/3 cups - milk
- 1/3 cups - all purpose flour
- 1/3 cups - fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 teaspoons - chili powder
- 1 teaspoons - paprika
- 1/4 teaspoons - ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons - butter melted
- - lemon wedges to serve optional, but definitely adds a lot
Directions:
Thaw fish, if frozen. Cut into 3 x 2 inch pieces (I got 5 pieces out of my fillet, probably could have gotten 6). Rinse and pat dry. Cover and chill until needed.
Preheat oven to 425. Line a large baking sheet with foil; spray with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
Place milk in a shallow dish. Place flour in a shallow dish. In a third shallow dish, mix together bread crumbs, chili powder, paprika and pepper. Add melted butter; stir until combined.
Dip fish pieces in milk; coat with flour. Dip in milk again, then in bread crumb mixture.
Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes until fish flakes easily with fork.
Serve with lemon wedges.
