Stuffed Artichokes

Ingredients:

  1. - artichokes
  2. 8 slices - bread toasted, grated
  3. 4 sprigs - chopped parsley
  4. 1/4 cups - chopped garlic
  5. 1 stalks - celery chopped
  6. 1 cups - grated Parmesan cheese
  7. 1 teaspoons - salt and fresh pepper to taste
  8. - imported olive oil

Directions:

Toss together the toasted, grated bread with parsley, garlic, celery, parmesan, salt and pepper and some olive oil.

Cut stem of artichoke for flat base and cut tip of each leaf slice off top. Soak in water until manageable; pull open leaves and spoon in stuffing.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 1-1/2 hours until tender.

Put in water and olive oil, basting frequently - with salt and pepper water.

Break leaf to see if tender.
