Ingredients:
- 2 slices - Bread
- 1/2 cups - Milk
- 1 1/4 pounds - Ground Beef Chuck
- 1/4 cups - Onion finely chopped
- 1 cloves - Garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons - Soy Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoons - Allspice
- 1/4 teaspoons - Nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoons - Pepper
- 1 - Egg slightly beaten
- 1 tablespoons - Oil
- 19 ounces - Sweet and Sour Stir-fry Entree 1 box
- 2 teaspoons - Cider Vinegar
- - Carrot curls optional garnish
- - Green Onion Fringes optional garnish
Directions:
Combine bread and milk, breaking bread with fork. Add chuck; mix well. Add onion, garlic, soy sauce, allspice, nutmeg, pepper and egg. Mix lightly; shape into 30 meatballs.
Heat oil in large skillet; cook half the meatballs until browned. Remove to warm plate; cook remaining meatballs. Pour off drippings. Add glaze mix from entree and 1/4 cup water to skillet. Cook, stirring, until glaze thickens. Add meatballs and cook until well-glazed, stirring occasionally. Add sweet and sour sauce from entree and vinegar; heat.
Place in serving dish and garnish with carrot curls and green onions, if you like.
