Tex Mex Stuffed Cabbage

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons - oil
  2. 12 ounces - ground turkey
  3. 1/2 cups - chopped onion
  4. 1 tablespoons - chili powder
  5. 1 tablespoons - brown sugar
  6. 1 tablespoons - salt
  7. 2 tablespoons - cumin
  8. 1 tablespoons - cider vinegar
  9. 1 cans - 8 oz. tomato sauce
  10. 1 cups - rice cooked
  11. 1/4 cups - raisins
  12. 1 - medium cabbage
  13. - salsa and sour cream for serving

Directions:

Cook turkey and onion in oil. Add seasonings, sauce and rice. Heat thoroughly.

Core the cabbage; wrap in wax paper and microwave on high for 4 minutes. Remove 8 large leaves. Cut ribs.

Put 1/3 cup filling in each leaf. Fold in sides and roll up starting with core end.

Place seam side down in baking dish; add 3/4 cup water.

Cover with foil. Bake for 45 minutes.

Serve with salsa and sour cream.
