Venison Roast with Gravy

Ingredients:

  1. 1 - venison roast
  2. 1 stalks - celery cut into small slivers
  3. 3 cloves - garlic sliced thinly
  4. 1 - onion sliced
  5. - seasoned salt
  6. 21 1/2 ounces - cans cream of mushroom soup
  7. - mashed potatoes cooked
  8. 6 slices - bacon
  9. - pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Punch several holes in both sides of roast. Slide celery and garlic into the holes. Place in a roasting pan, and top with onion. Cover onion with bacon slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake covered 20-25 mins per pound. Remove from oven 30 mins before roast is done. Add the mushroom soup around the sides of the roast. Bake, uncovered for 30 mins. Serve with mashed potatoes.
