Vodka Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. 3 tablespoons - Olive Oil
  2. 3 cloves - Garlic, minced
  3. 2 - Green Onions, chopped Mostly the white onion
  4. 2/3 cups - Vodka
  5. 1 - 28 Oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
  6. 1 teaspoons - Salt and Pepper
  7. 1 teaspoons - Onion Salt
  8. 1 teaspoons - Garlic Powder
  9. 1 cups - Heavy Cream
  10. 6 - Basil Leaves, chopped
  11. - Grated Parmesan

Directions:

Add oil, onion and garlic in a skillet and cook on medium heat until onions are soft. Add vodka and simmer on medium-low heat for a few minutes so that the alcohol can cook out. Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, onion salt, garlic powder and simmer for another 5-10 min. Stir in cream. Taste sauce and add more salt and pepper, if needed. Turn off heat. Serve over cooked pasta and garnish with basil and cheese.
